Not many countries get a passport stamp from North Korea, but Malaysia
does, and its visa free!

In Kim Il Sung square. Aside from the surrounding buildings, notice the
detailed coordinates marked on the floor for formation.

Every person has a place here. He/she needs to know exactly where is the
right place!

Tourists coming to North Korea are well treated by their local agency. It’s
their extension of warm friendship. Or is it us paying large sums to join
the tour? Or is this the reward for us being good visitors (as in good in
the government terms)?

who knows? but I certainly enjoyed the food here!

the tour guide said that their country is blessed with beautiful girls. I
agree!

its not just the dancing ladies, but the army ladies, police woman, and the
traffic officer

(no photos of the traffic officer though)

Pyongyang metro was built between 1968 and 1973, its 100 meters deep, which
makes an excellent bomb shelter.

It is effeciently run, with 17 stations over two lines. The ticket is very
affordable too, somewhere around 5 usd cents or 0.30 RMB!

Additionally, they have beautiful chandeliers and nice decorations
throughout.

We certainly enjoyed taking the Pyongyang metro. For a moment, I thought I
was in first world.

look into the driver seat among these two buses…one is right, the other
is left.

I thought this is rather bizzare!

The only South Korea made equipment that I have seen throughout this trip!
Taken in Korea DMZ, North Korea side.

I am not sure if its Samsung air conditioner that is a blessing or the two
North Korean soldiers that are so strict on my left. Especially given the
weather is going to get warmer…

North Korea’s Mansudae Grand monument.

Previously, it was only the father, since 15 April, his son has joined him.

Meanwhile, I look towards the same direction as their sight, and noticed
one thing…Pyongyang air is good and clean. Probably one of the best among
all the large cities (population > 2 million) I have been in Asia.
